Skyhook, decoded. On the Multistrada V2 S, the fork and the shock adjust themselves while you ride. Ducati Skyhook Suspension reads the road and trims compression and rebound damping continuously, cutting load transfer under hard braking and acceleration. The chassis stays composed; the wheels deal with the road. Where you feel it: Duffey Lake Road, two-up, panniers packed. The bike stays level over the frost heaves past Joffre Lakes, the fork holds its height into the switchbacks, and your passenger stops bracing. Let's settle the V4 question first. If you want 170 hp and radar, that's the Multistrada V4, and we'll say so ourselves. The Multistrada V2 S is built for a different job: the roads within a tank of Horseshoe Bay, ridden March to November, often in the wet. 202 kg, no fuel, through the tight corners of Duffey Lake Road. Skyhook suspension adjusting as the surface changes on an October run up the Sea-to-Sky. Wet mode for the rain off the Langdale ferry, 19 litres for the Pemberton leg, an oil change every 15,000 km. 890 cc V2, 115 hp, five riding modes, Cornering ABS. The Multistrada V2 keeps the same engine with a fully adjustable fork, so the real question is which one fits your roads. Ride both back to back at High Road Langley or High Road Vancouver.
